Key Responsibilities\n

The role of a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Dayspring involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at promoting mental health and well-being among clients. You will:

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele ranging in age from 9 years old to adulthood. Our counselors employ therapeutic techniques aimed at treating a wide array of mental health issues, using both preventative and intervention strategies. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in accordance with state regulations.

• Ability to maintain adequate Professional Liability Insurance coverage.

• Proficiency in operating office technology and remote counseling tools.

• Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and resilience to support clients dealing with complex mental health challenges.

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling is required, candidates with additional experience in community mental health settings are preferred.
