As a member of our team, you will provide telehealth services to clients, delivering high-quality mental health care from the comfort of their homes. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing mental health professionals to engage in meaningful therapy sessions from anywhere. Our telehealth platform is equipped with user-friendly technologies that make delivering therapy accessible and efficient. As part of our commitment to mental wellness, you will work a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate client needs and engagement.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial mental health assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that reflect each client's unique needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and other relevant techniques.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops to foster a supportive community and promote mental wellness.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and other specialists to ensure integrated and holistic care.

• Deliver crisis intervention services as necessary, providing immediate support during mental health emergencies.

• Create educational resources and materials for clients about mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and community resources.

• Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards through meticulous documentation and client record-keeping in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in continuous professional development activities, including case consultations and team meetings, to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in the field of mental health therapy to incorporate best practices into your work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse array of clients who come to Joyful Journeys seeking help for various mental health challenges. Our client base includes adults and adolescents from multiple backgrounds, each with unique stories and struggles. Your role is crucial in helping them navigate their mental health journeys, providing them with the tools they need for recovery and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated expertise in conducting mental health assessments and developing effective, individualized treatment plans.

• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy, especially in a remote setting, is highly desirable.

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with a strong ability to connect with clients in a virtual environment.

• Proficient in digital health tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Strong ethical grounding and professional boundary adherence.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will possess at least two years of post-licensure experience working with diverse populations in mental health settings.
