Schedule: 3×12s (34.5 Hours/Week)
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
Local Pay Rate: $73/hr on w2 (Without Benefits)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients using the nursing process and evidence-based practices.
• Perform patient assessments and apply critical-thinking skills to manage patient care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, transitions of care, and health promotion.
• Provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care.
• Perform purposeful hourly rounding and support positive patient experiences.
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation.
• Identify and escalate patient safety concerns and changes in condition.
• Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Support patient throughput and effective utilization of clinical resources.
• Perform charge nurse duties as assigned.
• Maintain professional nursing competence through ongoing learning and development.

Requirements

• Active New York RN License
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS
• NRP Certification
• EPIC experience preferred
• 1 year of travel experience preferred (required for travel positions)
