Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal Mental Health Counselor will focus primarily on the geriatric population, addressing a diverse array of psychological challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, chronic illness adjustments, and cognitive impairments. Qualifications\n

• A master’s level or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from a recognized accredited institution.

• Current licensure in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Psychologist.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly with elderly populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
