Senior Environmental Health & Safety Specialist

Introduction to the Job ASML Wilton is seeking a highly-motivated Senior EH&S Specialist who will provide technical assistance in the development and implementation of Workplace Health & Safety Programs. The Sr. EH&S Specialists will play a key role in maintaining compliance, the incident reporting and analysis process and work closely with supervisors and engineers to develop and implement corrective actions preventing recurrence. Responsibilities EHS Program Execution & Operations Support: Serve as the primary EHS point of contact for assigned factory areas, equipment, and processes; provide daily EHS support to operations, including floor presence, risk identification, and real‑time issue resolution; support new equipment installation, upgrades, and process changes ensuring EHS requirements prior to startup; participate in Management of Change and equipment safety reviews; review new Work Instructions and Procedures. Risk Assessment & Incident Management: Lead hazard identification and risk assessments such as JSA/JHA, task‑based risk reviews, ergonomic assessments; investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; perform root cause analysis; track and verify corrective actions; use data to identify trends. Compliance & Regulatory Support: Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, state, and local requirements and ASML corporate EHS standards; conduct and support EHS inspections, audits, and self‑assessments within EUV areas; support regulatory inspections and internal audits. Training, Coaching & Safety Culture: Deliver and support EHS training; coach engineers, supervisors, and technicians on safe work practices; promote safety culture; serve as a role model on the factory floor. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Partner with operations, engineering, facilities, and project teams; support site and sector EHS initiatives and improvement projects; contribute to procedures, standards, and tools; prepare routine EHS reports, metrics, and presentations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or related field preferred; extensive experience may be considered. 3+ years of EHS experience, manufacturing experience preferred. Knowledge of EHS programs and principles. Experience with incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action management. Proven stakeholder management. Familiarity with risk assessment tools, Job Safety Analysis, and work permitting. Ability to interpret and apply EHS requirements to manufacturing operations. Collaborates positively and efficiently. Strong communication, influencing and coaching skills across levels. Practical, solution‑oriented mindset. Additional Preferred Skills Experience with Crane and Hoist Experience with Powered Trucks – Training Electrical Safety experience Additional Responsibilities Potential exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents.
