Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized tools and methodology.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with clients, prioritizing their unique needs, goals, and preferences while addressing barriers to recovery.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to foster coping strategies and emotional regulation.

• Provide ongoing education and support for clients and their families, equipping them with essential knowledge about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
\n
• Monitor client progress regularly through scheduled follow-ups and assessments, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to client care.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in professional development and training opportunities, enhancing your knowledge and skills in the field of mental health and addiction recovery.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, fostering a collaborative approach to client care.

• Advocate for clients’ rights and needs, challenging mental health stigmas and encouraging community awareness and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals grappling with mood disorders, which may include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorders. You will also have the opportunity to support marginalized groups such as homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse, providing targeted therapy and group support sessions to meet their unique challenges and needs.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Proficient in establishing secure and trusted relationships with clients through effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrate a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental attitude when addressing clients' experiences and challenges.

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience.
