Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems effectively.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and medical providers, to deliver holistic patient care.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, stay current with mental health research, and integrate new strategies into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve treating a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. The LPCC will play a crucial role in reducing barriers to mental health care, especially for underserved groups in the San Diego area. By delivering tailored therapeutic services, you will directly contribute to enhancing your clients' overall emotional well-being and stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• Two or more years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing clinical practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
