Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
Location: Reno, NV
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 3x12, Days. May be required to float to other maternal units, including postpartum and NICU.
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in high-risk obstetrics and is prepared to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires flexibility, including potential floating to different maternal units as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns in a high-risk environment.
- Assist with labor and delivery processes, monitoring patients throughout.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in accordance with hospital policies.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- NV State RN license required prior to start.
- Current BLS, NRP, ACLS certifications required; STABLE certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Labor & Delivery in a high-risk hospital setting.
