Ramos Center Front Desk Representative

The Ramos Center is looking for an energetic candidate with great customer service skills to be the representative of our front desk at our Sarasota location.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing all patient check-ins
• Confirming patient appointments, verifying insurance, and retrieving all proper demographic updates from the patient if necessary
• Processing all payment types such as co-payment, co-insurance, and balances by cash, credit, or check
• Answering patient calls and messages related to patient concerns
• Scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments
• Scanning documents from office and procedure visits
• Completing designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system
• Compiling closing deposit for Office Manager to cash patient payments collected for date of service
• Counting bank at the beginning and end of shift
• Balancing and dropping receipts according to accounting specifications
• Following all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
• Following all company policies and procedures, ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, protecting company assets
• Welcome and acknowledge all patients according to company standards, anticipate and address patient needs, assist individuals with disabilities, thank patients with genuine appreciation
• Speak with others using clear and professional language, answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
• Move, lift, carry, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
