Human Resources Manager

Are you a hands-on HR professional who enjoys building strong teams, improving processes, and partnering with leadership? We're seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee all aspects of Human Resources for a growing organization. Responsibilities Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding Partner with leadership on HR strategy, workforce planning, and organizational development Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and HR policies Lead recruitment efforts for exempt and non-exempt positions Oversee performance review processes and employee development initiatives Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality Maintain HRIS records, reporting, and personnel files Support payroll processing and partner with Finance as needed Foster a positive, collaborative company culture Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience as an HR Generalist or HR Manager Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices Experience with recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management HRIS experience required; payroll experience is a plus SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization Ascendo is a certified minority owned staffing firm, and we welcome and celebrate diversity.
