Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule:
Shift: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:
- Active RN license in New York
- Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (TNCC required to be in hand)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department with pediatric experience
- EMR experience: EPIC
- Documentation of travel experience
- Skills checklist matching specialty
- Driver's license with address matching demographics

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to a diverse patient population in the Emergency Department, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care of patients experiencing a variety of medical conditions such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Administer medications and monitor patients' responses to treatments.
- Ensure compliance with facility protocols and safety standards.
- Assist in the management of emergency situations and provide charge nurse support as needed.
