Job Summary:
The Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) nursing position is located in a healthcare facility providing acute patient care. This role involves working an established schedule and contributing to a dynamic clinical team to support patient recovery and safety.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid active VA (Veterans Affairs) or Compact nursing license, relevant clinical experience in med-surg, telemetry, cardiac IMCU acuity level patients, neuro patients, and CVA patients, minimum of 2 years of work history, ability to explain all gaps in work history over 90 days, skills checklist, copy of Nursys or license, and active VA or Compact license upon start date
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge experience and Cerner EMR experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Orientation occurs every other Monday, unless otherwise posted. The role involves limited return-to-work restrictions and offers a 20-week assignment with the opportunity to work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Years Day). Client has the right to cancel up to 36 hours per assignment due to census fluctuations. This position may include working with students and new hires, contributing to a supportive educational culture.
