Talent Acquisition Outreach Specialist

Step into a fast-paced role where you’ll connect job seekers with great opportunities and strengthen relationships with local employers. Your day blends recruiting, community outreach, social media promotion, and hands-on support for candidates and the sales team.

A day in the life

Morning: Review your pipeline, refresh job postings across multiple platforms, and publish engaging social content. Reach out to applicants, screen resumes, and schedule phone and in-person interviews.

Midday: Conduct interviews, assess qualifications, and guide candidates through next steps. Answer online inquiries, maintain a welcoming front desk experience for walk-ins, and assist applicants with basic computer tasks and online applications.

Afternoon: Partner with the sales team to discuss workforce needs and upcoming roles. Represent the organization professionally with employers and community partners, identify potential leads, and help drive office goals. Track content performance and recommend improvements.

Out and about (as needed): Attend job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach activities; travel locally to support recruiting and employer relations efforts.

What you’ll do

• Source, screen, and interview candidates across a range of positions.
• Schedule and coordinate phone and on-site interviews; evaluate candidate fit and readiness.
• Build trusted relationships with job seekers and guide them through the hiring process.
• Attend and support job fairs, hiring events, and community initiatives.
• Maintain a warm, professional environment for walk-in applicants.
• Promote the organization’s value to job seekers, employers, and community partners.
• Represent workforce solutions professionally and discuss client needs with confidence.
• Spot potential leads and support client relationship growth alongside the sales team.
• Collaborate with sales to contribute to office targets and outcomes.
• Create compelling social media content to promote open roles.
• Manage and update job postings on multiple platforms; respond to online inquiries.
• Encourage candidate engagement and track performance metrics; share improvement ideas.
• Assist applicants with basic computer tasks and online forms.
• Maintain accurate records and update tracking systems/ATS promptly.
• Support office operations and general administrative tasks.
• Ensure all job postings are accurate and aligned to client requirements.

What you bring

• Experience in recruiting, staffing, or customer-facing sales preferred.
• Strong social media savvy and online communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to build relationships and promote services.
• Comfort assisting others with basic computer tasks and online applications.
• Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel locally.
• Pay is based on experience.
