Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that respect and reflect patients' unique cultural and personal experiences to inform individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored specifically to each patient's cultural context and mental health needs.

• Engage patients in individual, family, and group therapy sessions to explore mental health issues and promote resilience.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to provide cohesive care to patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention support efficiently, assisting patients during acute mental health crises as needed.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment pathways, and available community resources to enhance understanding and engagement in care.

• Maintain all relevant documentation accurately and confidentially, adhering strictly to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate actively in case conferences and team meetings, contributing insights and best practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders along with familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches is essential.

• Proven experience in providing therapy, both individually and in group settings, especially through culturally responsive techniques.

• Strong crisis intervention capabilities, with an ability to diffuse challenging situations effectively.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
