Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to thoroughly evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and intake interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to craft tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs, goals, and preferences, integrating client input to enhance engagement and ownership of their care.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), customizing techniques to fit individual client profiles and circumstances.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies, fostering a greater understanding and growing supportive networks.

• Regularly monitor and assess clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as indicated and documenting changes effectively to ensure clarity in client care.

• Work in concert with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic, integrated care that addresses both psychological and medical needs.

• Stay abreast of the latest research in mood disorders, enhancing therapeutic techniques and interventions in line with current best practices.

• Maintain confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans to comply with ethical and legal standards.

You will primarily be working with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders, demonstrating an ability to manage complex cases and diverse client needs.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT, is essential for this role.

• Strong foundational knowledge of psychopharmacology and its application within therapeutic contexts.
