Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations to accurately identify each client's mental health needs, developing personalized treatment plans that reflect best practices.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families using various therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Work closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, including attending interdisciplinary case consultations.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies, drawing on established protocols and your specialized training.

• Engage in community outreach activities to raise awareness about mental health resources, striving to reduce stigma and promote wellness in the greater Miami area.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will be working with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents and adults of various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. This exposure will enrich your clinical experience and help develop cultural competence that is crucial in today’s practice environment. Our patient population often presents with conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues, requiring a personalized and empathetic therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• Possess a current and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Hold a master’s degree or doctoral degree in disciplines such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients from varying backgrounds.

• Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity, ensuring effective interaction with clients representing diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic groups.

• Possess strong organizational skills, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-ups with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in a community mental health setting and familiarity with telehealth technology will be considered assets. Candidates who have worked with high-risk populations or have specific training in trauma-informed care will find their background especially relevant.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to USD 100,000 annually, DOE.
