Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns, formulate accurate clinical diagnoses, and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others, tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises or emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective response to ensure safety and stabilization.

• Maintain accurate, confidential client records, including detailed treatment plans, progress notes, and relevant assessment results, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and holistic care to clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available resources within the community, fostering informed decision-making and empowerment.

• Engage in ongoing education and professional development activities to stay current with best practices and enhance your clinical expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be serving a diverse population, encompassing individuals dealing with a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Your therapeutic approach will be informed by a deep understanding of cultural sensitivities and the unique life experiences of your clients, fostering a safe space for them to express themselves and engage in their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Must be licensed as a Mental Health Therapist as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.

• Hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.

• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
