Position Overview

Serenity Motion Therapy is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in our orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation center located in beautiful Saint Cloud, Florida. This full-time position provides an exceptional opportunity to engage with patients and make a significant impact on their recovery journey, offering a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 120,000 annually.

Work Environment

The ideal candidate will work onsite in our welcoming rehabilitation center in Saint Cloud, where you will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment. You will be part of a close-knit group that includes two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), fostering a supportive and collaborative atmosphere dedicated to patient satisfaction and effective treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals and specific needs, enabling the creation of individualized treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload that allows for dedicated, one-on-one treatment sessions with each patient, providing focused and personalized care.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions for various orthopedic conditions, facilitating recovery through therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that encompass a range of modalities and treatment approaches to improve patients' mobility and functionality.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their treatment journey, encouraging adherence to exercise protocols and lifestyle modifications.
• Document patient progress meticulously and utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to establish a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal results.
• Proactively explore non-invasive alternatives to surgery and medication, promoting holistic approaches to recovery.
• Encourage a healthier lifestyle through targeted programs that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population dealing with a variety of orthopedic issues, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain syndromes, and age-related mobility disorders. Your expertise and compassionate care will guide patients of all ages towards improved outcomes, empowering them to regain their independence and active lifestyles.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Master's or Doctoral degree (DPT) preferred.
• Current, valid state license as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• An exemplary professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques alongside competence in designing and implementing effective exercise protocols.
• Experience with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, highlighting your capability to manage and treat musculoskeletal conditions.
• Proficiency in developing customized treatment and wellness programs to address specific patient demographics and conditions.
