Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify each patient's specific needs and goals for recovery.
• Manage a patient caseload, typically serving one individual per hour, ensuring focused and personalized attention.
• Design, implement, and adjust treatment plans based on evidence-based practices to maximize patient outcomes.
• Utilize a range of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Guide patients in fitness and wellness activities tailored to their individual recovery trajectories, fostering independence.
• Monitor patient progress continuously and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans and exercise protocols.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes to comply with regulatory standards.
• Engage in proactive communication with other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress, share knowledge, and improve care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary focus will be on treating patients with musculoskeletal disorders, post-surgical recovery, and rehabilitation from sports injuries. You will work closely with a diverse demographic, ranging from young athletes to older adults seeking to regain their mobility and strength. Your role will be crucial in empowering these clients to achieve optimal functional independence and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Clean professional record with no prior board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and a deep understanding of therapeutic exercise methodologies.
• Competence in electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• A proven track record of successfully managing a diverse caseload of patients.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation protocols tailored to various orthopedic conditions.

Compensation and Benefits
