Director, Football Operations / Equipment Manager Essential Job Functions Direct all day-to-day football operations under the supervisionof the Head Football Coach. Assist the Head Coach with coordinating team travel Develop travel itineraries for home and away contests. Coordinate preseason camp logistics and daily practiceoperations. Coordinate meeting schedules and team operationalcalendars. Oversee football facility scheduling and operationalreadiness. Assist with recruiting visit logistics in collaboration withcoaching staff. Serve as liaison with other necessary universitydepartments. Coordinate team meals and nutritional support for camps &competition. Maintain operational records and reports. Direct all football equipment operations. Ensure proper fitting of helmets, shoulder pads, and protectiveequipment. Maintain accurate inventory of all football equipment,uniforms, and apparel. Coordinate purchasing of football equipment and supplies. Maintain inventory control systems. Oversee laundering, maintenance, repair, and replacement ofuniforms and equipment. Ensure compliance with manufacturer’s safety standards and NCAAequipment regulations. Coordinate equipment transportation for practices andcompetitions. Other related duties, as assigned Qualifications Minimum Education Bachelor’s degree Master’s degree preferred Minimum Experience Three (3) years related experience Licenses/Certifications N/A Knowledge Skills and Abilities Knowledge of NCAA Division I, SWAC, and University policies andprocedures. Knowledge of football equipment fitting maintenance, inventorycontrol, and safety standards. Knowledge of athletic operations and game management. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communicationskills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, inventory managementsoftware, and equipment tracking systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting strictdeadlines. Ability to supervise student managers and temporary staff. Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information. Strong budgeting and purchasing skills. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extensive travelschedules. Ability to establish positive working relationships with coaches,student-athletes, vendors, officials, and campus departments.
