As a member of our telehealth team, you will enjoy the flexibility of working from home while being supported by a collaborative environment that prioritizes communication and synergy among professionals. Our work setting embraces the use of the EPIC electronic medical records system, allowing seamless interaction with patient files and care coordination. The position entails a 36-hour workweek, with the possibility of accommodating a 32-hour schedule, strictly between Monday and Friday, ensuring work-life balance for our counselors.

Key Responsibilities\n

In the role of Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments specifically tailored for weight loss, obesity, and binge eating disorders to ensure a factual basis for treatment planning.

• Select appropriate therapeutic methods using standardized diagnostic tests, ensuring evidence-based practices guide your approach.

• Provide individual counseling sessions addressing the emotional, behavioral, and psychological dimensions related to weight control.

• Develop personalized treatment programs by closely collaborating with patients, taking into account their unique needs and preferences.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in the state of Florida is required.
