Work Environment\n

This full-time remote position offers flexibility in your work schedule, allowing you to balance your personal and professional life effectively. You'll be equipped with the necessary tools to provide services from the comfort of your home while maintaining a direct connection with clients through virtual sessions. While this role primarily focuses on remote interactions, there may be opportunities for in-person meetings at our main facility as needed.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients, evaluating their emotional, social, and psychological well-being, and developing personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.

• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, which may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness interventions, and family systems approaches to foster client resilience and coping skills.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies, ensuring that all documentation is timely and accurately reflects clients' progress and treatment interventions.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers, to provide comprehensive and integrated care for clients.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies, fostering empowerment and self-advocacy during their journey toward recovery.
\n
• Stay current with mental health research and integrate new methodologies into your clinical practice to improve client outcomes and enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client base will primarily consist of individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma, as well as those seeking support through end-of-life care in the hospice setting. You will be expected to approach each case with empathy and understanding, ensuring that cultural competency is reflected in your delivery of care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current state-issued Maryland Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license, with no disciplinary actions on record.
\n
• Proven expertise in clinical social work, encompassing assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and treatment planning.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
\n
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and adeptness in utilizing various platforms for remote client engagement.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in hospice care or with palliative care clients is highly desirable.

• Experience in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.

• Knowledge in crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include health, dental, and life insurance, as well as paid time off and opportunities for continuing education reimbursement.
