Kitchen Operator
AIMS Advantage is contracted with a leading player in the food manufacturing industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality and delicious products. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Kitchen Operator, we have openings on all shifts. Training will be on 1st shift for two weeks from 5:30am - 1:30pm.
Monday - Friday 5:30am - 1:30pm
Monday - Friday 1:30pm - 9:30pm
Monday - Friday 9:30pm - 5:30am
Job Summary
Candidate must have previous experience in a food manufacturing kitchen. As a Kitchen Operator in our food manufacturing facility, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout a shift, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor kitchen equipment, including mixers, ovens, and other machinery, to ensure efficient and accurate food production.
- Follow recipes and production schedules to produce food products according to established specifications.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of raw materials and finished products, conducting regular inspections and adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper sanitation of equipment and utensils.
- Record and document production data, including batch records and any deviations from standard procedures.
- Troubleshoot and address equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment with similar duties.
- Ability to follow recipes and production schedules accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and move items throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
