• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory examinations—encompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and various other domains—following established protocols.
• Assess test results for precision, identify and resolve discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection and sample preparation for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory processes, provide training to new staff or students, and ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment while following regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within a year of hiring.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification throughout your employment is required.
