Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including assessment of medical history, physical function, and specific impairments to establish a tailored treatment plan.
• Effectively communicate evaluation findings and treatment options to patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in goal-setting to foster adherence and motivation.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols that are adaptable to the patient's progress and aligned with current healthcare trends.
• Consult with interdisciplinary team members as necessary, closely monitoring and documenting any changes in patients' conditions, and adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Perform efficient discharge planning and provide follow-up care instructions, maintaining clear and thorough documentation for all patient interactions, including evaluations, treatment notes, and discharge summaries.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to meet productivity targets while maintaining a flexible and adaptive schedule for patient care, collaborating with staff for effective marketing of services.
• Contribute to departmental objectives by participating in strategic planning and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate professional development opportunities by pursuing continuing education and mentoring students and new staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily caters to orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and chronic pain. You will work with diverse populations where personalized outcome-oriented therapy is paramount, allowing you to directly impact their rehabilitation journey and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, preferably within an orthopedic setting.
• Certification in CPR or advanced life support.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience are required, candidates with experience in manual therapy techniques, sports rehabilitation, or outpatient care will be given preference. A background in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain patient documentation is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
