As a Security Officer Patrol Responder in San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service, support access awareness, and communicate with professionalism while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report access control issues, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by assisting with visitor directions, answering routine questions, and following post orders related to after-hours activity, deliveries, and/or restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
