The Lead Compensation Partner plays a key role in the design, administration, and continuous improvement of the Company’s broad-based compensation programs. This position provides analytical expertise and consultative support to HR Business Partners and business leaders on compensation matters, helping ensure programs are competitive, equitable, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.The Lead Compensation Partner will own and support core compensation processes and projects, including annual merit and bonus planning, market pricing and benchmarking, job evaluation, compensation structures, incentive programs, and ad hoc compensation analysis. This role will turn complex data into actionable insights and recommendations and help drive effective execution and continuous improvement of compensation programs.You will add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:Compensation Analytics & Consulting: Conduct compensation analyses and provide data-driven recommendations related to base pay, annual incentives, and long-term incentives. Evaluate market competitiveness, internal equity, pay positioning, and compensation trends to support business and talent decisions.Business Partnership: Serve as a compensation subject matter expert and trusted resource to HR Business Partners and business leaders, providing guidance on pay decisions, compensation practices, policies, and guidelines for salaried and hourly employees.Annual Compensation Planning: Support the planning and execution of the annual merit and bonus planning processes, including modeling, budgeting, manager guidance, system administration, reporting, and post-cycle analysis.Market Pricing & Job Evaluation: Conduct market pricing and job evaluations to support compensation decisions and maintain competitive pay structures.Maintain market pricing templates, job documentation, and related compensation data.Compensation Surveys: Lead participation in annual and ad hoc compensation surveys, including identifying appropriate survey sources, assessing market data needs and gaps, analyzing results, and making recommendations regarding market positioning.Compensation Programs & Tools: Develop, maintain, and enhance compensation tools, models, reports, and resources used by HR, managers, and employees to support effective compensation decisions.Program Administration & Communication: Support the administration and communication of broader rewards programs and initiatives, including salary structure updates, job/title alignment, policy development, and other compensation program enhancements.Compliance & Governance: Support compensation compliance activities and help ensure compensation programs, processes, and practices align with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.Project Leadership: Lead or support compensation-related projects from planning through implementation, coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines, identifying risks, and ensuring deliverables meet business objectives.Reporting & Insights: Develop recurring and ad hoc compensation reports and dashboards and leverage data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas of risk or improvement.Important Details:This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Oak Brook, IL office. support alternate shifts.The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $99,200 – 148,800 USD annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs. For certain roles, the successful candidate may be eligible for annual discretionary merit compensation award, bonus and equity pay.You’ll fit right in if you have:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field required.4-6 years of compensation experience, with strong broad-based compensation experience preferred.Demonstrated experience with compensation program administration and annual compensation processes, including merit and incentive planning.Strong knowledge of compensation principles, market pricing, job evaluation, pay structures, and internal equity.Advanced analytical skills with the ability to analyze large and complex data sets, identify trends, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.Strong consulting and communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence and partner with HR professionals, managers, and business leaders.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, and modeling.Strong project management and process improvement capabilities, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within established timelines.HRIS expertise and demonstrated ability to navigate and leverage HR technology; Workday experience is strongly preferred.Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.Your TreeHouse Foods Career is Just a Click Away!Click on the “Apply” button or go directly to to let us know you’re ready to join our team!At TreeHouse Foods, we embrace diversity and inclusion for innovation and growth.
