Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technologist to become an integral part of our expanding network of imaging specialists. You will have the opportunity to operate the latest ultrasound technology, performing diagnostic exams that matter most to patients, all while working alongside an encouraging team focused on excellence and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient care and comfort throughout each examination, clearly explaining procedures with empathy
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and medical teams to deliver accurate, high-quality diagnostic images
- Safeguard the functionality of imaging equipment, reporting any issues without delay
- Thoroughly document all procedures and manage patient records in the electronic medical system
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging and techniques
Educational Qualifications
- A degree (Associate's or Bachelor's) in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred
Required Certifications
- Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent credential
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
