Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments during initial client visits, evaluating the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, including depression and anxiety.

• Work closely with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that reflect their individual goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs, ensuring a client-centered approach.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood and anxiety disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to foster understanding and enhance treatment outcomes.

• Monitor and document clients' progress throughout therapy sessions and adjust treatment plans as necessary, promoting continuous improvement in mental health outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care and address any co-occurring conditions, enhancing the overall treatment approach.

• Remain informed about the latest research and best practices in mood disorder treatment to provide the highest quality of care.

• Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential records of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans to comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team discussions to enhance clinical skills and share insights regarding clients' treatment trajectories.

• Advocate for clients, contributing to de-stigmatization efforts surrounding mental health and supporting their right to appropriate mental health services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals facing challenges such as mood disorders (depression, bipolar disorder) and anxiety-related issues. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds, and your ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with them will be essential in supporting their therapeutic journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based modalities for mood and anxiety disorders, including CBT and DBT.
\n
• Working knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate with psychiatrists for a holistic treatment approach.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect effectively with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in providing therapy to clients with mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
