Work Environment

This position is fully onsite, allowing therapists to conduct evaluations and treatments in the patient's home. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the physical and functional status of patients in their home settings.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and therapeutic goals, utilizing various techniques such as exercise therapy, manual therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Implement treatment interventions regularly, adjusting and modifying the approaches as needed to ensure effective progress towards rehabilitation.
• Document all treatments, patient responses, and progress meticulously in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Regularly review and update treatment plans, re-evaluating therapeutic goals and employing new strategies as required.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on the use of assistive devices and proper techniques to enhance their self-care and mobility.
• Maintain professional development by attending workshops, participating in training sessions, and engaging with professional societies to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We cater to a diverse patient population that includes individuals with varying diagnoses ranging from orthopedic injuries to neurological disorders. Our therapists work closely with pediatric and geriatric patients, adapting their approaches to meet the developmental and physical capabilities of each age group.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current valid license to practice physical therapy in the State of Florida.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.

• A flexible and adaptable approach to therapy with a strong commitment to patient care.

Preferred Experience
