Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, focusing on home care settings where you will deliver therapeutic care directly in patients' residences. You will work closely with patients, families, and caregivers to establish a supportive and effective care plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries in their home environment, ensuring an individual-based approach that caters to each patient's unique needs.
• Design, implement, and administer tailored treatment plans leveraging various therapeutic methods including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the use of specialized equipment.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on responses to therapy, and documenting treatments in compliance with established protocols.
• Provide education and training for patients, caregivers, and families on therapeutic exercises and proper use of assistive devices to facilitate recovery and self-management.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and staying current with industry trends and research to improve treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Home Care Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse range of patients, from children to seniors, who are seeking recovery from various physical conditions. Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and hold a valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
