Work Environment

This position will be primarily onsite in the patients' homes, allowing you to create a comfortable and familiar environment for rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed treatment and care plans that reflect individual patient assessments and rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize expertise in movement science to employ effective therapeutic techniques that address physical limitations, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and various modalities.
• Conduct regular evaluations to assess patient progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and document outcomes to ensure continuity of care.
• Communicate actively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans, progress updates, and any necessary adjustments to their home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with local and federal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be providing care to a diverse array of patients in a home care environment. These may include elderly patients recovering from surgeries, individuals with chronic pain or mobility issues, and clients aiming to prevent injury recurrence. Each treatment will be customized to target specific needs while reinforcing a positive and encouraging atmosphere aimed at optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license issued by the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated capacity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
• Adept at working independently while also being a collaborative team member within a multidisciplinary healthcare framework.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years' experience in physical therapy, preferably in a home care or outpatient setting.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient tracking.
• Strong ability to build rapport with patients and their families, ensuring they feel supported throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
