Work Environment\n

As a remote team member, you will utilize innovative telehealth technologies to connect with clients, ensuring they receive necessary support from the comfort of their homes. You will engage with clients during regular business hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a structured yet flexible scheduling approach that prioritizes both your and your clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the specific symptoms, severity, and impact of mood disorders in clients.

• Collaborate intimately with clients to develop customized treatment plans tailored to their individual goals, preferences, and life circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to implement effective interventions.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mood disorders and equipping them with self-care strategies.

• Closely monitor client progress throughout their therapeutic journey, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evidence and observed outcomes.

• Engage in collaborative practices by working alongside psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure seamless, integrated care for clients.

• Stay informed on current research and best practices in mood disorder treatment through continuous professional development and self-study.
\n
• Maintain precise, confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and assessments, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and workshops to exchange knowledge, improve clinical skills, and contribute to a culture of learning and excellence.

• Actively advocate for clients, addressing stigma related to mental health and promoting understanding and acceptance of diverse mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will primarily be individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. By providing compassionate and tailored care, you will directly contribute to improving their mental health, quality of life, and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in New York State.
\n
• Proven expertise in utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches for mood disorders, specifically CBT and DBT.
\n
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and experience collaborating with psychiatrists and medical professionals for comprehensive patient care.

• Demonstrated history of achieving positive outcomes in mental health treatment, particularly for clients with mood disorders.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
