Financial Analyst EveryMind is hiring a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. The role is responsible for analyzing financial data to support decision‑making, developing financial models, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, assisting with grant and contract applications, and recommending process improvements. Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting. Ensure compliance with regulatory and grant reporting requirements. Assist with grant and contract applications and recommend financial process improvements. Develop detailed monthly financial reporting of program and department performance. Manage datasets from Excel, grant and accounting systems to generate automated reporting. Track and monitor restricted and unrestricted funding streams in compliance with financial reporting. Generate submissions of grant and contract budget modifications to meet quick turnaround requests and deadlines. Communicate effectively across programs and departments to provide business partner support. Maintain data governance across agency to ensure consistent data sharing follows best practices. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in accounting or financial analysis; experience with budget development, financial forecasting, and internal/external reporting; general knowledge of payroll processes and related reporting; nonprofit finance experience strongly preferred. Skills: Strong analytical skills; advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP); excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; clear and effective communication; experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred; experience with Abila and Concur strongly preferred; familiarity with Paycom also preferred. Abilities: Effectively interact and work collaboratively in a flexible work environment with a variety of constituents; express ideas with clarity, confidence, and sensitivity; maintain confidentiality involving clients in accordance with organizational and federal guidelines.
