Qualifications:

Active Louisiana Department of Education Certification
Current professional Social Worker license in Louisiana
Previous experience in pupil appraisal or Special Education preferred
Fingerprinting and background/drug screening as required by school district and agency
Strong collaboration, evaluation, and team communication skills

Responsibilities:

Conduct initial and re-evaluations for Special Education qualification
Administer standardized testing and monitor intervention strategies
Attend SBLC & ABIT meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Coordinate and facilitate the student evaluation process across 2-3 school sites
Maintain thorough documentation aligned with state and district policy
