Summary of Role The Account Executive interacts with clients on a day-to-day basis, developing and maintaining relationships with both client and carrier representatives. The Account Executive prepares applications, specifications and marketing strategy for new business and renewals with supervisory oversight. They manage a book of business, act as lead consultant and primary point of contact, and may have revenue goals and client retention targets. Full‑time role with hybrid schedule from Bethesda, MD or VA/DC offices; remote option may be considered for qualified candidates with HNW market experience and established carrier relationships. EST zone schedule required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Negotiates terms, conditions, coverage limits and pricing with carriers and wholesalers Works with the Claims Department on relevant claims for assigned clients Ensures accurate information (updated exposures, driver information, reporting forms, signed endorsements) to avoid E&O claims Maintains a follow-up system to ensure policies, endorsements and other data are received to comply with requests Might direct job activities of the service team Builds and maintains strong relationships with carriers and clients, providing regular contact and insights on industry trends, events and regulatory issues Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent written communication skills: clear, grammatically correct writing; adapts style and presents numeric data effectively Self‑confident decision maker Ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities and stakeholder groups Strong leadership and technical expertise with analytical and problem‑solving skills Calm, courteous, professional demeanor in challenging situations Strong attention to detail, decisive judgment and problem‑resolution capability Education and Experience BA/BS preferred; high school diploma or GED required Typically more than 5 years of industry and product line experience Experience with CRMs; EPIC highly preferred Certificates, Licenses, and Registration P&C Insurance License required upon hire CIC, CPCU, CPRIA, CPRM or other P&C designation preferred What We Offer Competitive salary ($69,000 – $87,000 base), PTO & paid holidays, 401(k) with match, discount programs, health & wellness programs, and performance‑based incentives.
