Our client is a locally owned and operated company that specializes in the installation and distribution of a wide variety of commercial construction products and services. They are well known for their high quality work built on timely service and value. The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG structural welding, as well as operating band saws, and using measurement devices to ensure accuracy to work in a production with customized project-based environment. Pay: Up to $20/hr for those with qualifying skills. Schedule: Mon-Fri. 6:30am-3pm Benefits after hire: Health insurance - medical/dental/HSA/vision, PTO, 401k/profit share.

Duties:

• Perform MIG welding with an emphasis on structural welds
• Follow QA process in support of company standards
• Use of measurement devices to ensure accuracy
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Deburring of materials in support of production
• Follow shop safety requirements
• Utilize shop math skills for accurate measurements
• Set up welding equipment for production runs
• Assisting metal shop employees with production of parts and assemblies
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience with metal fabrication including MIG welding experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong shop math skills
• Minimum of 1 year work experience in the following:
• Deburring
• Welding setups for production
• Band saw, calipers and micrometers
• Comfortable lifting 50lbs consistently and using mechanical or team lift for heavier lifts.
