Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct therapeutic sessions with individuals, couples, and families to address emotional and relational challenges faced during the rehabilitation journey, utilizing video conferencing tools to facilitate engagement.

• Perform thorough assessments to identify clients' relational dynamics, emotional struggles, and specific recovery objectives. Craft personalized treatment plans that encompass both mental health and rehabilitation goals.

• Implement family systems theory and other relevant therapeutic modalities to enhance communication, resolve conflicts, and develop effective coping strategies among clients and their families.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists and medical doctors, to create an integrated care model that aligns disparate treatment goals and fosters comprehensive healing.

• Provide immediate crisis support and interventions for clients experiencing acute emotional distress during intensive rehabilitation periods.

• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in client documentation by upholding legal and ethical standards in progress notes, assessments, and treatment plans.

• Educate clients and their families about the emotional components of recovery, promoting healthy coping mechanisms and strategies for enhancing familial relationships.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with the latest advancements in marriage and family therapy practices and rehabilitation methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Oasis of Hope, you will engage with diverse clients, including individuals and families facing challenges related to mental health issues, substance abuse, chronic illness, and trauma. Your work will directly contribute to clients' recovery journeys, helping them navigate the emotional and relational hurdles that often accompany rehabilitation.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
