Nursing Management Consultant - Per Diem Days

About This Role The Nursing Management Consultant provides consultative guidance and support for RN management clinical operations on an ad hoc basis. This role is ideal for experienced nurse leaders looking for flexible leadership opportunities. Highlights Location: Neptune, NJ Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You’ll Do Provide consultative and ad hoc leadership support in daily operations of the assigned unit. Assist nurse leaders in developing short‑and long‑term goals aligned with organizational objectives. Provide education and training to new graduate nurses as needed. Support Nurse Leaders in managing time, resources, and multiple priorities with appropriate delegation. Develop, implement, and support activities that promote patient satisfaction within a patient‑centered care framework. Notify appropriate individuals of critical events according to policies and practices. Ensure team members are knowledgeable in emergency preparedness and disaster response policies. Develop unit‑specific response plans and participate in preparedness drills as required. Review and act on ad hoc variance analysis reports, including nursing hours per patient day and cost per unit of service. Collaborate with Nurse Leaders and other departments on PDCA/Performance Improvement projects.
