This role is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Syracuse, New York. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their unique goals, impairments, and functional limitations.
• Devise and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing a variety of advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Maintain an optimal patient load to ensure quality care, dedicating the necessary time to develop rapport and trust with each patient.
• Utilize cost-effective and evidence-based treatment methods to enhance patient mobility and function, prioritizing non-surgical interventions.
• Provide education and guidance on self-management strategies and lifestyle modifications that contribute to long-term wellness.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment progress accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.
• Regularly evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary to achieve the best results.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and optimize patient recovery.
• Promote fitness and wellness programs that align with patients' rehabilitation goals, focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout the phases of their treatment, fostering a positive environment conducive to recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work predominantly with diverse patient populations, including athletes recovering from injuries, older adults seeking rehabilitation post-surgery, and individuals managing chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid Physical Therapist license in New York State, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong understanding and proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with patients, their families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Capable of operating EMR software, particularly WebPT, to maintain accurate patient records.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient rehabilitation or sports medicine setting.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful intervention strategies based on the latest research in physical therapy.
• Proficiency in specialized manual therapy and effective exercise prescription techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
