Position Overview

Body Holistics Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic outpatient clinic in Syracuse, New York. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in helping patients regain mobility, enhance physical capabilities, and achieve their optimal quality of life. This position offers a salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits.

Work Environment

Your work setting will be onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, designed to facilitate the best possible therapeutic outcomes for our patients. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, where collaboration among healthcare professionals is not only encouraged but essential to optimize patient recovery. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, with standard working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop personalized care plans tailored to their unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and treatments, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques to improve movement and function.
• Educate patients on exercises and self-care strategies that will enhance their recovery and promote independence.
• Employ manual therapy techniques and modalities, showcasing your mastery in orthopedic outpatient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery and outcomes.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship by motivating and encouraging patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide integrative patient care.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices that enhance strength, balance, and flexibility in our patient population.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse range of outpatient clients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and other mobility-related issues. This role is focused on providing high-quality, individualized care aimed at helping patients return to their daily activities and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in the state of New York, free from any sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in various manual therapy modalities and exercise program development.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, for accurate and efficient documentation.
• Current knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy practices and interventions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings is preferred but not mandatory. New graduates with relevant internships are also encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

Compensation and Benefits
