Work Environment\n

This position will be carried out in a remote capacity, primarily serving students in local schools throughout Mesa, Arizona. Employees will utilize a range of digital tools to interact with students, teachers, and families, ensuring that care remains accessible and effective. While the primary schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, flexibility for occasional evening or weekend hours may be required based on the specific needs of clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for students experiencing major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders.

• Collaborate effectively with school staff, teachers, and administration to design and implement individualized care plans that align with student needs.
\n
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices tailored to diverse populations.
\n
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights, track student progress, and adapt strategies to meet evolving challenges.

• Advocate for student mental health resources and conduct outreach programs to educate the school community about available services.
\n
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures as well as adherence to the ethical standards set forth by professional bodies.

• Document all interactions and updates in a timely manner using our designated electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving school-aged children and adolescents who face mental health challenges. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in identifying early signs of distress, providing therapeutic interventions, and connecting students and families with additional resources as needed. Our emphasis on empowerment and choice will guide your practices, aiming for positive outcomes both academically and emotionally.

Qualifications\n

• A valid LCSW license to practice in the state of Arizona.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health assessment and treatment methodologies, crisis intervention, and risk assessment strategies.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an aptitude for building rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Effective organizational and planning abilities to manage a diverse caseload efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school or community mental health setting.
