Responsibilities

• Develop and win new commercial roofing business across the DFW market through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building with property owners, developers, general contractors, and facility managers.
• Leverage an established knowledge of the local commercial roofing market to identify opportunities, generate qualified leads, and consistently build a strong sales pipeline.
• Conduct site visits, assess client requirements, prepare accurate roofing proposals and estimates, and present tailored solutions that meet customer needs and project budgets.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation, project handover, and ongoing client relationship management to drive repeat business and referrals.
• Maintain a strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, industry trends, competitors, and local construction activity to maximize business development opportunities.
• Work closely with estimating, operations, and project management teams to ensure seamless project delivery and a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in commercial roofing, with established relationships and experience selling within the DFW commercial construction and property management market preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of proven commercial roofing sales experience, with the majority of that experience gained within the DFW market.
• Demonstrated success in outbound business development, consistently generating new opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold outreach, and relationship buildingnot solely managing inbound inquiries or existing accounts.
• Commercial roofing industry experience is essential. Candidates with only general construction sales, inside sales, or non-roofing sales backgrounds will not be considered.
• Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, specifications, bidding processes, estimating, and project life cycles across the private sector.
• Extensive knowledge of the DFW commercial construction and roofing market, including key property owners, developers, general contractors, facility managers, and commercial real estate stakeholders.
• Existing network of industry contacts and client relationships within the DFW market is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets by securing new commercial roofing projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships and close high-value commercial contracts.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently with a strong focus on winning new business in a competitive market.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the DFW market to meet clients, attend site visits, and develop new business opportunities.
