Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients, including pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation, adhering to all regulatory standards and timelines.

• Employ evidence-based screening tools and methodologies to evaluate clients' needs and progress.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement positive behavior support plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring our services meet the highest standards.

• Serve as a liaison with state agencies, service systems, and community partners to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Foster open communication to meet contracted service standards and enhance community engagement.

• Identify and cultivate relationships with local, state, and federal organizations to promote initiatives, secure funding, and build strategic partnerships.

• Commit to ongoing professional development by participating in conferences, workshops, and statewide meetings relevant to mental health practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily engage with a diverse population including individuals managing mental health disorders, those recovering from substance use, as well as clients with developmental delays and brain injuries. Your compassionate and informed approach will be crucial in fostering trust and guiding our clients through their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in a behavioral health field is required.

• Active Independent LMHC License issued by the state board of Florida.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain clinical records, prepare documentation, and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

• Proficiency in working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to make informed, independent decisions grounded in clinical knowledge.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in community mental health settings or crisis intervention is an asset. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and tools specific to mental health counseling will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
