Accounts Payable Specialist

As an Accounts Payable Specialist at SIXT , you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments while supporting the financial operations of a fast‑growing global organization. Working closely with internal business partners and our international finance teams, you will help maintain strong vendor relationships, resolve discrepancies, and contribute to the efficiency of our accounting processes. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

You process vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and payments accurately and timely while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting procedures. You research and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries by collaborating with internal departments and external partners. You reconcile vendor statements, maintain accurate accounts payable records, and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities. You monitor payment schedules, prepare reports, and ensure financial transactions are properly documented within the ERP system. You identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes, support special projects, and contribute to increased operational efficiency. You work closely with the Accounting and Finance teams while providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

Education & Experience – You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or bring equivalent work experience in accounts payable or accounting. Technical Expertise – You have experience working with ERP systems and financial dashboards and demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Attention to Detail – You have exceptional organizational skills and consistently maintain a high level of accuracy when processing financial transactions. Multitasking & Time Management – You can effectively prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Communication Skills – You possess strong written and verbal communication skills and maintain a professional approach when working with vendors and internal stakeholders. Work Authorization – You are authorized to work in the United States and do not require work authorization sponsorship by SIXT now or in the future.
