Bookkeeper

Accountant

LHH is seeking an accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support overall financial management. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys owning the accounting process and working closely with leadership in a collaborative office environment. The anticipated salary is between $60,000-$85,000 a year.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Process invoices, enter bills, and ensure timely vendor payments
• Generate customer invoices and assist with collections efforts
• Create and manage purchase orders for equipment and materials
• Perform account coding and data entry within accounting systems
• Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
• Support purchasing activities and vendor relationships
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
• Assist leadership with financial analysis and reporting needs
• Coordinate with external CPA firm for tax-related matters and year-end reporting
• Process payroll information through the company's payroll platform as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Experience with QuickBooks Online required
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• CPA designation is welcomed but not required
