Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapy services, encompassing family therapy, individual counseling, psychological evaluations, and group therapy sessions aimed at various psychological needs.

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose and evaluate mental health disorders, applying evidence-based methodologies to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Consult with other mental health professionals regarding assessments and treatment plans to promote cohesive care strategies across disciplines.

• Effectively utilize a variety of psychological techniques to treat various psychological disorders, adapting approaches based on each client's unique needs.

• Complete comprehensive bariatric psychological evaluations as required, ensuring a holistic understanding of each patient’s wellbeing.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Sutter Health Counseling, you will work with a varied clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents. You will provide support to clients seeking to navigate challenges such as relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and life transitions, ensuring an empathetic and personalized approach to care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field is required.

• A valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting, specializing in therapy for individuals and families.

• Exceptional active listening skills and the ability to provide a calming presence in high-tension situations.

• A deep understanding of behavioral and affective disorders, along with experience in developing and implementing treatment plans.
