We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated mental health team at Enriching Lives Mental Health & Addictions Clinic, servicing a diverse patient population in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this full-time, remote position, you will play a crucial role in delivering tailored mental health services to individuals within our hospice care setting, providing vital support to both patients and their families as they navigate complex emotional challenges.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments for patients and their families, taking into account personal histories, presenting concerns, and unique risk factors to create comprehensive understanding of needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, aimed at addressing mental health challenges, enhancing emotional wellness, and aiding effective adjustment to their circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care strategies, focusing on the specific needs of hospice patients.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that promote emotional processing, coping mechanisms, and personal growth, ensuring a safe space for expression.

• Respond to crises by implementing de-escalation techniques and making timely referrals to higher levels of care when necessary to manage acute mental health situations.

• Enhance patient and family education on mental health conditions and available resources, empowering them to navigate their emotional landscapes effectively.

• Document all interactions, assessments, and treatment plans meticulously to comply with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, using appropriate electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case reviews to discuss patient progress and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement of care strategies.

• Stay informed about current laws, regulations, and best practices in mental health care, especially within hospice settings, to ensure compliance and effectively serve our client population.

The patients you will serve primarily consist of individuals in hospice care dealing with terminal diagnoses, requiring not only physical but also profound emotional support. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited university.

• Valid and active LCSW license in the state of Nevada.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience, ideally in a mental health or healthcare setting focused on end-of-life care.

• Experience in conducting thorough mental health assessments and developing effective treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits\n
