Standard Job DescriptionPerforms technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Basic QualificationsExperience with program engineering execution, including preparation and participation in milestone reviews such as CDR.Experience leading teams and/or project management experience: planning, scheduling, staffing, task ownership, and presentations to stakeholders/customer. Demonstrated technical experience in Human Factors Engineering (HFE), Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineering, and/or Relaibility/Availability/Maintainability/Testability (RAMT) Engineering. Active or current Secret Clearance required to start; US Citizenship required. Desired SkillsBachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated leadership skills and behaviors that align with the LM Full-Spectrum imperatives.Broad knowledge of missile design and/or missile Systems. Working knowledge of Speciality Engineering disciplines. Experience working in test facilities.Systems Engineering process knowledge or experience and complete lifecycle experience with Engineering processes and reviews.Familiarity with DoD/Space program support.Experience establishing and implementing technical requirements (specifications, program plans, etc.).Experience working collaboratively with customer and geographically dispersed teammates.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
