Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to accurately identify co-occurring disorders and establish personalized treatment plans for clients.

• Craft and execute evidence-based treatment strategies tailored to the individual needs and goals of clients, ensuring effective progress towards recovery.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on addiction-related issues, trauma, and comorbid mental health conditions.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate clients’ progress throughout their rehabilitation journey, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in response to changes in their needs.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health, addiction recovery strategies, and available resources to empower them in their journeys.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, adhering to all legal and ethical standards within the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals suffering from substance use disorders and a range of concurrent mental health conditions. Your expertise will support clients from diverse backgrounds in developing coping strategies, enhancing their resilience, and achieving lasting recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience in mental health support, preferably within a rehabilitation context.

• Additional training or certifications in rehabilitation psychology or substance abuse counseling are highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
